Statuesque Miniatures is pleased to announce the release of a bumper batch of figures and accessories.
Five foot nothing of rowdy, Asylum Esme is another addition to the Statuesque Asylum range of pulp horror figures.
Asylum Esme is on New Release Special Offer at £3.75, down from £4.
We also have the first releases from the new Statuesque Starport range; chunky, pulp-scale sci-fi figures with a retro twist.
Esme – Juvenile Delinquent kicks off the range. She's escaped from the big house and is set on revenge.
As a New Release Special Offer, Esme – Juvenile Delinquent is priced at £3.75, down from £4.
For a limited time only, you can get both versions of Esme in the Double Trouble Esme Special Offer for only £7, saving £1 over the regular prices.
Next up are Able Spaceman 1 and Able Spaceman 2. Two ne'er-do-wells on leave in the Starport, one is armed with a careening flamethrower, the other with nothing more than a large spanner and wilful intent.
Able Spaceman 1 and 2 are available as a New Release Special Offer for £4.25 and £4.50 respectively. For a limited time only you can get both together in the Able Spacemen Special Offer for only £8.25, saving £1 over the regular prices.
Finally, Heroic Scale Female Heads NARROW is the first release from a new range of narrower Heroic Scale heads.
Whereas the SMA301-306 Heroic Scale range is great for converting heavily armoured space knights or troopers in fatiques and body armour, the Heroic Scale Female Heads NARROW set is designed specifically for converting heroic scale female figures, or more slight heroic scale figures in general.
I've added some comparison photos to this blog and will be adding more over the next few days.
Heroic Scale Female Heads NARROW is available as a New Release Special Offer for only £4.25, saving over 10%.
These offers will run until Sunday the 19th of March, or while stocks last.

New Pulp Alley figure and cards on Pre-Order
Statuesque Miniatures and Pulp Alley are pleased to announce the Pre-Order of a new Pulp Alley Miniatures pack – Apophis, the Shadow of Chaos!
"The personification of all evil and chaos, the shadow of the Great Serpent is already spreading around the globe. As his evil servants gather powerful and ancient artifacts, Apophis grows ever stronger. Soon, none will be able to thwart his revenge and planet Earth shall be consumed."
Measuring 39mm tall, Apophis towers over his Pulp Alley opponents and represents the first Terror figure we have done. As a Pre-Order Special Offer, Apophis - the Shadow of Chaos is priced at £4.70, saving 10%.
With the release of a suitably scary new figure, it's the perfect time for some horror. The Pulp Alley Horror Deck introduces new and exciting effects for players wanting to add a touch of horror to their Pulp Alley scenarios. Can you survive the mind-rending madness?
The Pulp Alley Horror Deck is made up of 48 cards. Two blank Horror cards are also included for you to make your own custom cards, replace worn cards, and so on. The deck is printed on premium stock to match the high quality Fortune Decks and other printed cards.
As a Pre-Order Special Offer, the Pulp Alley Horror Deck is priced at only £8.85, saving over 10%. Please note, stock is very limited, so order now to avoid disappointment!
Also new this month is the Statuesque Asylum Adversaries set. Featuring Lillie Poots, Professor Felicity Poppington, Doctor Strukov and Sister Anaesthesia, the Statuesque Asylum Adversaries set is priced at only £13.25, saving £1.50 over buying these items separately.
I'm happy to say we now have the Pulp Alley Rulebook, Fortune Deck and Pulp Leagues book available again as a Restock Pre-Order, along with the Pulp Alley Deal for the rulebook and cards. The stock will be arriving from the US with the new Horror Deck, so will be posted on the same date.
Finally, a number of Pulp Alley card packs are now 20% off while stocks last. Stock is limited but remember: unless marked as a Pre-Order or Restock Pre-Order, Statuesque Miniatures will never take an order for an item that isn't in stock and ready to send.
Any order containing a Pre-Order item will not be posted until the 20th of May. The Pre-Order Special Offer prices also run until this date or while stocks last.

Felicity Poppington and TWO new sizes of female head sprues!
Statuesque Miniatures is pleased to announce the release of three new products.
"Professor Felicity Poppington has been investigating the stories surrounding Statuesque Asylum for some time, interviewing former patients and staff to hear their tales of horror and dread. Now she must cross the threshold and discover for herself what hides in the shadows of this benighted place.”
First up we have Professor Felicity Poppington, a new addition to the Statuesque Asylum range of pulp figures.
Professor Felicity Poppington is priced at £4 and is available to buy now.
Next we have two new sprues of female heads. In addition to the ever popular Heroic Scale Female Heads range, we now have two new sizes of heads with which you can convert your figures. Check out the various comparison pictures of Statuesque miniatures and accessories alongside other ranges.
The Fine Scale Female Heads are designed to match the size of the Statuesque Sci-fi range and are priced at £4.50 for 10 heads.
The existing Fine Scale Resistance Fighter range of heads have long been used by customers to convert various manufacturers' figures, particularly those that feature smaller, finer heads than most. These new heads expand on that range, giving more options for conversions.
The Pulp Scale Female Heads are designed to match the size of the Statuesque Asylum and Pulp Alley ranges, and are also priced at £4.50 for 10 heads.
I'm hopeful this new size of head sprue will prove popular. I consider them to be a pretty standard size of head - if such a thing can be said about miniature figures - and as such they can be used with a wide variety of figures of all genres. I've been busy converting various figures from my collection and will show the results on the Statuesque Miniatures Facebook page in the next few days.
So now there are three size ranges of Statuesque Miniatures Female Heads, so hopefully there will be something to meet your needs. Both the Fine Scale and Pulp Scale ranges will be expanded to feature all the options available in the Heroic Scale range -and more!

Statuesque Asylum now in Glorious Technicolor!
I’ve long been aware that the Statuesque Miniatures Online Store can be a somewhat monotone place due to the lack of painted figures for many of the products. Well now I’ve decided to do something about it…
Charlie Kirkpatrick, known as Countersunk81 on various forums, has painted Dr Strukov, Sister Anaesthesia and Lillie Poots for me and needless to say I’m very pleased with the results. I’m hoping to get Charlie to paint up more of the Statuesque range over the next few months. Next up will likely be some creepy Frothing Loonies!
All the Statuesque Asylum figures are available to buy now.
In other news, stay tuned for new Pulp Alley Miniatures coming tomorrow...

Of figure scales and sizes
![]() |
Statuesque Sci-fi, through Statuesque Pulp, to Statuesque Fantasy. |
I thought I would write a post to highlight the different figure sizes and proportions that I'm now working to for our different ranges. For each genre - sci-fi, fantasy and pulp - I've altered how I use sizing and proportion, both to provide me with different sculpting opportunities and to perhaps better match the kind of ranges I see the Statuesque figures being used alongside.
Statuesque Sci-Fi
![]() |
Bella the Partisan - the remaining figure from the launch of Statuesque Miniatures. |
So the Statuesque Miniatures Sci-Fi range perhaps features figures more slender than most, but it will work nicely with many other manufacturers' ranges, the most obvious being that of Infinity by Corvus Belli. It should be noted that all the head sprues in the Resistance Fighter Accessories range a designed for the Statuesque Sci-fi range, not as add-on parts for other manufacturers' figures, though I have seen them used nicely on Infinity and Sedition Wars figures amongst others.

Pulp Alley and Statuesque Asylum
It was decided that the pulp genre figures should be slightly chunkier than the existing Statuesque Sci-fi figures, with slightly bigger heads and extremities, to better match existing pulp ranges such as those by Copplestone Castings and Pulp Figures. With such diverse figures already on the market, it would have been a bit silly to try and rewrite things with our new ranges.

Statuesque Fantasy
The newly launched Statuesque Fantasy range is not my first foray into fantasy miniatures. That came with the release of the diminutive Ezmeralda Tyke.![]() |
A very small elf name Ezmeralda Tyke. |
Now I could have ploughed my own furrow and expanded the fantasy range in a style similar to Ezmeralda, but the thing is I actually really like exaggerated, caricatured fantasy figures. My Kev Adams Citadel goblins are some of my favourite figures and I really wanted to make fantasy characters of my own that I could use alongside (or more accurately in opposition to) those figures.
This has led to the new Statuesque Fantasy range of adventurers, unashamedly exaggerated, caricatured and ridiculous! And yes, they do have very big noses, don't they...
![]() |
A big nose, a slightly smaller nose, a wide nose and a very big nose. |

Our four heroes fail to spot the diminutive, elf-like creature creeping along beside them in the shadows. |
Heroic Scale Heads
Finally we come to the black sheep of the Statuesque range, the Heroic Scale Female Heads. These do not fit any existing Statuesque figure, but are designed for use on your heroic scale figures from other manufactures. I sculpted these because there appeared to be demand for heads similar to those that I'd made for the Resistance Fighter range, only larger.
![]() |
L-R: Resistance Fighter Beret heads, Heroic Scale Female Heads, Resistance Fighter Cracking Hairdo heads. |
So that's my run-down on the whys and wherefores of the perhaps ever-so-slightly confusing sizing differences between the different Statuesque ranges. I enjoy sculpting to these different styles as it allows me to do something different from the last figure I sculpted, so each range will continue to expand in future. Don't forget there are a number of comparison photos here on the blog so you can judge for yourselves how you think the figures will match your existing collection.
Regards,
Andrew Rae

Statuesque Miniatures and Pulp Alley are pleased to announce the first releases from our new joint Pulp Alley Miniatures range.
First out of the blocks are Pulp Girl and Phantom Ace, two daring pulp heroes ready to fight villainy wherever it raises its head. As a special pre-order launch deal, Pulp Girl and Phantom Ace are available for only £7/ $11.75 for the pair.
These figures are available from both the Pulp Alley Webstore in the USA and the Statuesque Miniatures Store in the UK.
Also available from both sides of the Atlantic is Lillie Poots. Bravely venturing in the the darkness armed only with her grandmother's lantern, Lillie has a starring role in Statuesque Miniatures' new Statuesque Asylum pulp horror range.
Lillie Poots is priced at £3.50 or $5.75.
Also escaping through the gates of Statuesque Asylum are the Frothing Loonies! These crazed individuals are the unfortunate victims of Dr Strukov's nefarious surgical experiments and they roam the wards and grounds of Statuesque Asylum, a danger to all they meet.
The Frothing Loonies are priced at £10.50 for three figures with six, poseable head options for greater variety, and are available from the Statuesque Miniatures webshop.
Finally, for a limited time only you can get Lillie and two sets of Frothing Loonies for only £21 with the Lillie Poots Versus the Frothing Loonies Special Offer, saving £2 over buying the items separately.
Please note all the new releases are pre-orders and will not be shipped before the 3rd of March 2014. All limited offer run until 3rd of March or while stocks last.
Unfortunately, Sod's Law has dictated that we have sold out of the Pulp Alley Rulebook just before the new miniatures range goes on sale. The book will be restocked in due course, once I've checked the old finances and paid what will be a rather hefty moulding and casting bill this month! I apologise for the inconvenience. In the meantime, the Fortune Deck and the Perilous Island expansion are still available.
Finally, the rather popular Hong Kong Killer Fembots are also currently out of stock. However, I have decided to keep them on sale as a Restock Pre-Order, so if you wish to purchase Fembots and any of the current special offers, you can do so without paying twice for postage.
Please be aware there could be a two to three week (or more) wait for me to receive the Fembot restock, and any orders containing the Fembots will not be posted until I have the new stock. Do not order the Fembots if this is an issue for you.
As you can probably tell, restocks are an issue for a small company like Statuesque. I had wished to order more stock of the Fembots at the last restock, but I had various other codes that also needed to be restocked so I had to order what I could afford. Now that we're getting through the backlog of new releases cause by the Fembot production delay, I hope to be able to keep on top of stock levels. Also, apart from the Fembot Restock Pre-Order mentioned above, we do not sell items that we do not have in stock at the time of order.
